And once again, the tree is up, we can have a little Christmas

I didn't know if I had time to get it up this year, but so glad I did.  No sooner was I finished, than the grandsons showed up and had to inspect every little item hanging on the boughs.  It was worth the work just to hear their delightful comments.

It is very beautiful and worth putting up. I think we all get to the stage when we ask ourselves if it's worth it. Then as i your case you see the wonder filled eyes
of the little ones and you know.

With the wedding on Friday
I haven't actually given Christmas any thought at all!

LOTS of time for Christmas, Bee. Forget it for now and just enjoy that wedding - as best you can. Christmas will come and go, and if a few things get skipped this year, so what? There'll be plenty more Christmases. All the best with the wedding, and Merry Christmas!

Love your tree. How many thousand lights do you have on it? For me it is worth the effort because of the wonderful smell of pine and the fun hanging each ornament. And I don't even have the little ones to stare in wonder.

This year when I pack up I am getting rid of the old plastic ones I had just to fill in. Only treasures and hand made ones are staying in the ornament boxes.

I don't really know how many lights - it's an artificial tree and whatever lights were on it. I have strands of sparkly reflective beads that pick up and reflect the lights making it look like there are many more than there are.

I haven't had a fresh tree in a long time -- I worry too much about the fire hazard.

Good timing I'd say. No tree here though this year as its to Colorado to see those grandchildren.

Well, that will be great fun, TB! And just think, you don't have to bother with taking down all the decorations after Christmas either. Hmm, I have grandchildren in another state . . .
