You Can Never Hold Back Spring

I'm so busy, there's just no time for blogging.  Things are looking better and better in the yard, though I haven't planted this year's color yet.  We are getting another storm tomorrow through the weekend -- yes, snow!  Saturday the landscaper comes to evaluate the sprinkling system and give me a quote on the project.  In the meantime, I have indoor projects lined up for the next few days.

It's a nice YouTube video of Tom Waits doing You Can Never Hold Back Spring. See if this link will get you there.

Not everyone likes Tom Waits, but I do like him, and especially this hopeful yet melancholy song.

No fair? We too are scheduled for rain and snow over the weekend. All which means we will be heading north into the mountain passes into Colorado and Utah in a snow storm.

Yesterday it was 63 and I sat out on my porch and basked in the sun and meandered around the yard which is greening up. So sad. Nothing worst in my opinion than a May snow.

Do be careful on that drive. Usually the spring snows melt off fast and a couple of hours can make all the difference between treacherous and safe roads.

I guess this is not so unusual -- we always get spring snows. It just seems this year like winter has dragged on forever. I want spring in the worst way.
