Continuing the countdown. Four more weeks. This was my last full week of work. With holidays and scheduled time off, I have just 12 working days left. Hanging in, if just barely.
Hmmmmm, you are getting close. This is the flurry before the pause. Ever watch a squirrel looking for nuts in the fall? They run to each spot, tail flicking like a chamber maid shaking a rug, a quick look up and around, furious digging, another look, peel rubber to the next spot, repeat. Sound familiar?
There's a flurry of activity right now, for sure--some related to work and some to the season. The squirrel analogy is cute. I don't feel as industrious as those little guys look. But if I can somehow get through the holidays, I can finally rest.
So true, TB, though I am more in a counting down mood than ever. It's funny how the time at work feels extremely long and drawn out, and my home time and weekends now seem to disappear. I think it's all the preparations for holidays--there's not enough time this month, and I'm starting to pare down non-essentials now.
