Christmas Eve

It's snowing and temps are dropping.  Roads are getting icy.  I got to leave work early and stopped to pick up a couple of items for tomorrow.  It was a madhouse at the grocery store.  I have finished wrapping gifts and they're under the tree.  I have purchased a ton of food.  I even wore red today to be more festive.  Still, it doesn't feel like Christmas Eve.  At least not like any Christmas Eve I've ever had before.  I'm sure it's because my mind is more focused on other events right now.   I think I need some traditional Christmas music tonight.

Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas Beckieann from sunny Arizona. Spending quality time with the grandchildren almost makes sitting on the tarmac waiting in hope the snowplows and deicers will do their job to clear a path thru the blizzard. It was ugly and we arrived finally at 1 a.m. in Mesa. Anyway hoping you have a nice Christmas day. Take care.

Oh man, TB, and here you thought flying would be the easier way to go. I'm glad you arrived safely, if much delayed. You seem determined to have an adventure everywhere you travel. Thanks for the good wishes - Christmas Eve and Christmas day so far have been just wonderful. I have another group arriving at 5 in the evening, so I may just grab a nap in between here. Enjoy those kids!

Thanks, Herb. I hope you had a great Christmas, too. And yes, time is slipping away quickly now. Just 9 calendar days. That's almost a blink of the eye.
