It's Sunday and I'll have the house to myself today. Somewhat snowbound - by my own choice as I prefer not driving on icy roads if I don't have to. Today I'll catch up on laundry and housework (as best I can), and will shovel snow in awhile. The rest of the time will be for reading, napping, blogging, facebook. I sent both of my Netflix movies back yesterday so if there is to be a movie, it'll have to be one I own. Maybe it's time again for "Four Weddings and a Funeral". Always good for a laugh and a cry -- and a happy ending.

At least you got a little snow and not the bitter cold invading our area. Have a fun and happy day. Hallmark site is always good for relaxing movies. Cheesy, but relaxing.
Snow has arrived here and they are mumbling about up to 2 feet above 9500 (I am below) and on the west facing slopes (I am on the east slope). So far not much white stuff but the cloud cover has warmed the temperatures a tad. I have been painting more ornaments for the tree but will soon retire to the easy chair to watch Startrek again. It was such a good movie I may have to watch it more than once more.
A friend loaned me the entire Northern Exposure DVD set and I am only through season four.
Love lazy DVD Sundays.
We are getting sub-freezing temps, Bill, though probably not as low as you're experiencing. Our highs in the daytime get in the high 20's. We're not supposed to get above freezing until Friday. Then on Saturday, we'll have a balmy 38! Today (Monday) more snow but the heavy stuff is heading south of here -- up to 4 feet in the mountains!
Jacqui, bundle up and stay safe. This is a serious storm and it looks like you are right in its path.
I am hoping it takes a serious dive south. My friend outside Albuquerque has not had serious snow in several years. The forest she lives in could really use this. But 2 feet and not 4. I have not read four anywhere. Please no.
The four feet is for the mountains of Southern and Central Utah. Monticello has a blizzard warning right now. This thing may not go far enough south to give Albuquerque what they need. There was a story on the news last night about the drought in New Mexico. I think they said 7 years now.
It's good to have a day of rest now and then... Especially if you are involved with renovating and have workmen around.
Movie watching is weekend activity for us too!
Four weddings And A Funeral...one my all time favourites. Never get sick of watching it..
